I like the new creep shield mechanic. It's vaguely more interesting when clearing camps, but it's really exciting when you're being counter jungled (or accidentally aggro the camp) and then an AoE stun goes off mid-team fight. Presumably the excitem…

Gcafa11b4907244e89e92b867ab208799 is the good Shadow Backdoor example. If you're looking into that. Although way overkill since I didn't need to use my ult, you'll get the idea. I should have just done it as soon as I got ult. Ignitor still seems f…

Epilogue A few weeks later, Alder happened upon that neighbourhood again. He stood upon a nearby mountain and looked down upon Gorok's garden. Or what was left of it. He cried, and cried as he ran down the mountain and climbed the vines into the ga…

Chapter IV - The Big Payoff They moved to the window, and saw the beginnings of Eden. While the trees were still less than a meter tall, and the edges of the garden were still full of seedbots planting the rest of the seeds, the river was a blue sq…

Chapter III - A Matter of Time Alder was glad to get rid of her, because there was still one thing he didn't have a solution for. Time. He had estimated earlier that to fill that area with plants would require approximately 1.3 million seeds, but h…

Chapter II - To Plant a Garden Ryme's gauntlet proved to be more trouble for Gorok than she thought. One week later she was too embarrassed to speak to him, for her simple plan of removing some rocks so that weeds could grow themselves had failed. …

Rocky Beginnings A Green Origin Story Chapter I - The Goddess of Strength Gorok was the goddess of strength. Those with sinews hewn from marble, those who tossed around granite boulders like frisbees, and those for whom "pumping iron" means more …

So I'm a big fan of quick cast and have used it for years in HotS. Quick cast (with indicators) now in Atlas feels great, exactly what I was hoping for! Really makes the ability heavy comps like AP Vex work for me now.

@CohLysion said: (1.1) - I'm sort of ambivalent towards either of the gem collection modes. I don't really have any of the negative reactions a lot of the TW4 people were having with having to click on them, and I can imagine a case where I'd …

I was able to play two games on this build. Game 1 - G7f1627836ff645b5825c553641ffbc10 I loved the feeling of more scrap, where I could afford both tech and lots of advanced units. When we reached the Trebuchet stage (a little early possibly) I co…

Visual and auditory polish is really good. I can't pick a favorite voice, as I haven't tried them all yet, but I have a reason to cycle through them all again. Unfortunately I read the patch notes after my games, and so didn't even notice that char…

On the modding subject, do you have plans to expose hooks for writing custom AIs? I seem to recall that a fan mod (Sorian AI) for Supreme Commander greatly improved the single player skirmish mode for that game.

Art upgrade looks good, and the re-branding of stock really helps it feel more accurate. I no longer feel like I should be able to "mine people" to increase it mid-game. I didn't experience any serious audio glitches or other bugs in my games.

@Treisk said: - What was your experience with the collection and spending of Scrap throughout the game? Was floating scrap a lot. Initially you can spend it on tech and your favored squad upgrades, but It's hard to just "build" items. You ne…

On the point of the economy, with the improved nexus health I've been finding that the games do drag out to "fatigue". There's plenty of combat as a team grows stronger and stronger, but without a strong coordinated strike (which feels impossible wi…

One issue arising in these recent builds, the economy rework has undervalued expansions. See G30c16429f20b44dca3a94ee44d463213 for a game where our winning strategy was "don't take expansions". With one exception for the brutal middle, which is easy…

Only thing I really noticed in this build was ults moving to level 8. I think that was great, ults actually play a major part in the game now and you'll usually get to ults before the game ends. Last build the game was ending just as leading players…

One comment I have beyond Triesk's questions is that there's a real problem with map control right now. There is no map control beyond where your troops currently are, and there's no way (aside from the teleporter, late-game) to affect the other par…

Getting in one last bot game, G046f73571208444b82ae87705f83d158 , for one last bot feedback post. The bots have many bugs, and make many sub-optimal choices, but one "choice" my allies made particularly galled me. I was harassing the enemy resour…

I think "Mercenaries" is a good name though, the connotations help explain why you have to re-purchase them all the time, and they'll fight for any squad, while your loyal squad members just come back for free. The group part is pretty implicit from…
