UI clarity concerns?

When I was in squad select, I picked hydros for one game because I thought I was going to the solo laner. I thought this because even though my portrait was the middle one, my name was closer to the bottom image. Wasn't quite used to the interface yet, so I was less careful than I could be.

It's a minor thing, but UI clarity is just as important as game mechanics, amirite?
