Unknown crash bug?

Today when I tried to start my first vs bot game the client made a VERY loud buzzing ping sound and froze for a moment before starting back up. The client was still running and chat still worked, but there was an infinite loading bar at the top that didn't seem to be really loading anything and couldn't start a new game until I closed the client and restarted it. I had no issues in TW1 but this was my first TW2 vs bot attempt.
