Can't see names above allies

I trust that this is a feature because a friend I was playing with was able to click over allies and see their names. In my case I had no idea who was who, clicking or mousing over didn't do anything. Are there others with this issue?

    If you hold Alt (Option on Mac) and mouseover a unit, you'll see who's controlling it. Hope that helps!
